Saray Design encourages our finest carvers and inlay artisans to create masterworks of their own design using rare and special pieces of precious stone, jade, rock crystal as well as cut and faceted gemstones.
Each month we will highlight new one-of-a-kind masterpieces inspired by the classical treasures of the past and interpreted by the superb contemporary artistry and craftsmanship of the present.

Round white marble table top inlaid in lapis lazuli with a 10th-century proverb inspired by a Nayshabur ceramic plate.

Black jade bowl
An elegant bowl finely carved out of jet black jade inspired by 17th century Mughal design and set with a border of sparkling Melee diamonds.
Inlaid white marble plate
Finely carved and fluted white marble plate delicately inlaid with floral motifs of lapis lazuli, turquoise, iridescent abalone shell and mother-of-pearl, a masterpiece of pietre dure inlay.
