Masjid al-Haram

For this revered mosque in Mecca Sharif, Saray Design was given the honour of ornamenting a movable minbar in pure white marble set with turquoise leaves and Qur’anic calligraphy, which combined 21st century German technology, developed by the gifted engineers of Sl-Rasch based in Stuttgart, with 17th century Mughal craftsmanship done by Saray master inlay artisans.

The result was the creation of a magnificent, movable and air-conditioned minbar – the first of its kind.
