Over the years, Saray has offered its unique expertise on a wide range of architectural projects. Clients have requested everything from Ayurvedic spas to modern Mughal gardens.
As Saray founder Mitchell Abdul Karim Crites explains, 'My main field of study has been in Mughal gardens, architecture and water features, so it seemed natural to turn towards the ornamentation and design of structures ranging from private homes, to palaces and mosques. Most of the artisans we work with descend from families who have created some of the greatest buildings in India and across the Islamic world'.
